Pareto’s principle is the rule for success in life.
The 80/20 rule in the gym will get you results.
Try to keep your diet good 80% of the time, thats all you need. Aswell as that, try to make sure 80% of your meals are whole foods.
Whilst the other 20% could be just foods you enjoy, or taste nice!
The same applies to training, 80% of your movements should be weighted exercises which use big muscle groups. Whilst 20% of the exercise should be cardiovascular movements to help burn fat too.
This is a good reminder that the gym and diet isn’t 100% or nothing, just make good choices most of the time is realistic and brings you balance
